SCOPE: MECHANICAL & PIPING INSTALLATION, MAINTENANCE

Greenstone is located on the traditional territories of four First Nations – the Animbiigoo Zaagi’igan Anishinaabek (AZA), the Aroland First Nation (AFN), the Ginoogaming First Nation (GFN) and the Long Lake #58 First Nation (LL58) – and is home to the citizens of the Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO).

BPC completed the greenfield construction of all piping and mechanical aspects of the mine including TSSA registered process piping and the air system, as well as the 40-person installation of two 22’ × 40’ EGL ball mills, all pumps, conveyors, and screens.

BPC's contribution to the construction has been consistently ahead of schedule and on-budget. Greenstone was completed on schedule and poured first gold in the first half of 2024.

After completion of construction and the first pour, BPC was awarded an ongoing maintenance contract.

SCOPE: MECHANICAL & PIPING INSTALLATION

DATES: 2022 - 2024

BPC completed the mechanical installation of an FLS crusher and SAG mill, a ball mill, jaw crusher, and secondary crusher. Other installations include the process piping, a Kemix CIP system, all overland HDPE tailings and reclaim piping, the gold room, conveyors, and barge raise.

BPC also provided commissioning support until the first ore and has since returned to assist in capital projects.

SCOPE: MECHANICAL INSTALLATION

Madsen Mine is located on the traditional unceded territory of the Wabauskang First Nation and Lac Seul First Nation.

BPC completed the installation of a M367F CITIC ball mill as well as the complete, ground-up, refurbishment of a Metso 16' × 5' SAG mill. Other upgrades include pumps, piping, rebuilding of damaged components, a new water treatment plant, installation of a new gravity circuit consisting of two concentrators, vibrating screens, and an intensive leach reactor.
